Gulls (often informally called seagulls) are birds in the family Laridae. They are most closely related to the terns (family Sternidae) and only distantly related to auks, skimmers, and more distantly to the waders. Until recently[vague], most gulls were placed in the genus Larus, but this arrangement is now known to be polyphyletic, leading to the resurrection of several genera.Gulls are typically medium to large birds, usually grey or white, often with black markings on the head or wings. They typically have harsh wailing or squawking calls, stout, longish bills, and webbed feet. Gull species range in size from the Little Gull, at 120 g (4.2 oz) and 29 cm (11.5 inches), to the Great Black-backed Gull, at 1.75 kg (3.8 lbs) and 76 cm (30 inches).

其实海鸥还是不错的， 基本上是3000以下性价比最高的机械表了， 3000+开始有天梭力洛克， 海鸥 中高端也和他不相上下。海鸥主打产品总体上的特点是仿瑞士 2824， 2812机芯， 但结构稍作优化 ， st2130的高端是强于2824-2低端的， st1812也 差不多， 价位也偏低， 机芯稳定性上海鸥不次于任何一款同价位手表， 海鸥的问题是， 渠道简单， 品牌认同度不够， 质量不稳定， 表带质量太差， 这些是他不如瑞士表的地方。相对于日本的低端精工和东方， 海鸥的特点是功能强大， 有止秒、 瞬跳， 手动上弦等功能， 千元价位的精工东方这些功能都没有， 缺点是日本表皮实， 耐用， 海鸥表 比较娇气， 不好伺候。低端机械表中如果想玩， 看海鸥， 如果工作强度大或者要 戴着表打球， 买精工 ， 如果只求让别人认出来， 上瑞表。
